How to install Acrylic Letters with pad mounts.

Used on Flat Mounting Surface. Plastic pads or adjustable pads

Tools Required: Spacing Guide, level, masking tape, tape measure, cleaning cloth, optional adhesive such as silicon caulk, liquid nails or epoxy

Plastic pad extending beyond back of letter, typical with plastic letters, install product direct to wall without having to drill any holes. Installed with use of a spacing guide. Silicone is a common adhesive to hold such letters.

Clean the mounting surface

1. CLEAN Mounting Surface

Clean and prepare mounting surface before starting your install.

Tip: Surface should be flat, clean and free of excess dust or moisture.

2. (OPTIONAL) POSITION and Secure Guide

A Spacing Guide or Pounce Pattern are recommended to properly install pad mounted letters. Layout, level and securely tape your guide flat to mounting surface. Check spelling, spacing and kerning of letters on guide.

3. APPLY Adhesive to Pads

Using a quality adhesive such as epoxy or silicone caulk, generously apply to the pads of your #1 letter. Install one letter at a time.

4. TAPE Letters to Secure

Using long strips of tape, securely tape letters to wall using guide. Stand back and perform a visual check to make sure letters are straight. Lift tape and reposition letters as needed to set straight.

Perform a final check, from a distance, to insure proper spelling & spacing. After letters are aligned properly on wall , apply pressure to face of each letter.

5. REMOVE Face Masking.

Once letters are secured, carefully peel off protective letter face masking. Clean off letter faces as needed.

Tip: Some face masking is almost invisible leading some to believe the letters were cut backward. Pick gently at a corner with your fingernail to begin peeling the mask.
